Song Hye-kyo and Bae Suzy's day in: No glam, just real moments
What’s a day out like for two top celebrities?
Turns out… a cosy day at home with a dog. That’s how Song Hye-kyo and Bae Suzy spent a fun evening together.
Song Hye-kyo shared a photo captioned “love you” of Suzy visiting and cradling her dog Ruby. No glammed-up hair or heavy makeup here, just two stars keeping it real. Suzy returned the love with a candid snap of Song Hye-kyo bonding with Ruby.
Despite jam-packed schedules, they made time to hang out, and fans couldn’t get enough of the genuine, heartwarming photos, with some secretly hoping for a K-Drama on the cards. "Such a beautiful friendship. Literally and figuratively," one wrote. Others shared previous threads of their friendship photos. "Why did no one tell me about this?"
Song Hye-kyo has gushed about Suzy before, telling Herald POP: “We clicked from the beginning. She may be younger than me, but she’s incredibly mature. Talking with her is always refreshing. She’s like a reliable younger sister.” Clearly, the feeling is mutual.
And while they’re spreading friendship goals in real life, their work lives are just as busy. Song Hye-kyo is gearing up for Netflix’s upcoming drama Let It Burn (working title), a gritty 1960s–80s tale about ambitious souls navigating the cutthroat Korean entertainment scene.
Suzy is also moving full steam ahead with her next project: the Disney+ original series Lullaby. Set in 1935 Gyeongseong (colonial-era Seoul), it follows a mysterious woman, Song Jeong-hwa, and a painter commissioned to capture her portrait—only to uncover the secrets hiding behind her enigmatic life.
Clearly, both stars are juggling glamour, grit, and a whole lot of heart.
