Sharjah: Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) is further cementing the emirate’s reputation as a hub for cultural and family entertainment with its flagship destination, Al Qasba.

From 29 to 31 August, the venue’s theatre, Masrah Al Qasba, will host the much-loved production of Pinocchio.

The show follows the success of Cinderella, which opened the theatre’s 2025 season earlier this year to packed houses and glowing reviews.

Reimagining a timeless story

Presented in collaboration with H2 Productions, the performance retells the beloved tale of Pinocchio, the puppet brought to life by a kind-hearted Fairy. To become a real boy, Pinocchio must prove his courage, honesty, and kindness, embarking on an adventure filled with humour, challenges, and lessons in character.

The production promises dazzling costumes, vibrant staging, and a mix of music, theatre, and spectacle designed to captivate audiences of all ages.

Performances will run over three days, with two shows at 3:00pm and 6:00pm on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 August, followed by a 3:00pm matinee on Sunday 31 August.

Exciting line-up ahead

Masrah Al Qasba continues to offer year-round programming that blends entertainment with education. Following Pinocchio, audiences can look forward to the interactive comedy Around the World in 80 Days in October, and the enchanting Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs in December.

Bringing families together

With each production showcasing high artistic standards, immersive storytelling, and innovative stagecraft, Al Qasba’s theatre remains central to Shurooq’s mission of creating cultural experiences that inspire and bring families together.

Organisers expect strong ticket demand for Pinocchio and have encouraged audiences to book early.
