Mallika Sherawat is a sex bomb and Shaadi Se Pehle reaffirms it. She is selective about the films she chooses to act in and is making money while at it.

Mallika Sherawat knows show of skin sells. And the actress is clear that she is clear about that. So, be it her kisses in Khwahish, her skin show in Murder and Bachke Rehna Re Baba, or her recent interview on BBC where she discussed sex and sexuality with gay abandon, Sherawat knows her approach is a knockout.

And her films are hits. Which brings us to Shaadi Se Pehle, her current release. Sherawat plays what she plays best, a sexy model who gets co-star Akshaye Khanna weak in the knees and makes his girlfriend - played by Ayesha Takia - hate him.

The film is a comedy, as have been her last two releases, Bach Ke ... and Kis Kis Ki Kismat. Sherawat loves setting trends but doing comedies is a trend that seems to have her following in step. Comedy is what sells in Bollywood these days and Sherawat is ready to do it to death.

Shaadi Se Pehle however, could be different from other comedies Sherawat has done before simply because it's directed by Satish Kaushik. When you have a class comedian directing comedy, the results are bound to show. And they are usually good.

It also proves something else. Sherawat is being selective about the films she chooses. It may be fun, it may have her showing skin, but all that should translate into money. So Sherawat has got over her fixation for the Bhatts. Ram Gopal Varma, Subhash Ghai and Mani Ratnam are now in queue.

Shaadi Se Pehle is a Ghai production. Sherawat makes an appearance in Varma's forthcoming Darna Zaroori Hai and will be doing a cameo in Mani Rathnam's Guru that also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Mithun Charaborthy. And she's also got a role in Farhan Akhtar's Don.
