Ever since Koton’s recent A/W11 launch, I’ve had my eye on their Hakan Yildirim collection, so I’ll be trawling the malls to see if it’s in store yet. And I’ve just joined the Bodyworx gym in JBR in a bid to get super-slinky for the official launch party in November – have you tried TRX yet? It’s a killer! I may be persuaded to accompany husband to see Real Steel at the cinema (he did come and see The Three Musketeers with me last week, so I owe him one). And finally, top of my list to check out at the weekend, is the new Monte-Carlo Beach Club at Saadiyat Beach, Abu Dhabi, which looks pretty darn glam. Anyone care to join me?

After the mortgage-your-soul-to-afford-anything delights of Paris Fashion Week, a long lie down in a darkened room would suit me, but shopping calls, so I’ll be out and about finding gorgeous buys you’ll love! I’m possibly the only person left in Dubai who hasn’t had dinner at 101 at the One&Only, Palm Jumeirah, so I’ll be checking that out – and grabbing the boat across from Jetty Lounge. Finally, I’m getting very excited about Britney coming to the UAE, so I’m polishing up my dance skills a la Nicole Richie. Girl’s sure got moves.

At the moment I’m totally obsessed with Mad Men, and I’ve just splashed out on the box set so I have a few TV dates lined up to get my fill of the Sixties glam-squad. If I can tear myself away from Don Draper & Co, on Friday I’m heading down to Sandance at Nasimi beach for some festival fun; with Example and Richard Ashcroft playing it should be amazing. And before Sandance I’m going to indulge my inner reality TV geek and head to Dubai Mall to check out Kim Kardashian opening the new Millions of Milkshakes store.
