It would have literally been a clash of the titans at the box-office, as Salman Khan's Dabangg, Karan Johar's We Are Family and Robot starring Rajnikant and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were all scheduled for release on the same day. Realising that the clash of the release date would've had an adverse effect on the box-office earnings of KJo's film, SRK advised him to release his film a week earlier.

In fact, according to sources, Shah Rukh has been such an integral part of the film's journey that it had the crew of the film thinking that when it comes to KJo, he is indeed family.

By the way, isn't it interesting that Salman and his ex Aishwarya are going to fight it out at the box-office this time?

Love is in the air!

Unlike her big brother, Saif Ali Khan, Soha prefers to keep her personal life away from the media spotlight. But not any more. After denying all rumours of her roaring affair with budding actor Kunal Khemu, she has finally admitted that they are an item and are quite serious about each other.

Well, such honesty is always welcome but considering the fact that both actors have not been creating much buzz professionally, it's left me wondering whether such a declaration of love would change that. Touche.

Ranbir to find love

Looks like this one is also not flying the nest. Just like Abhishek Bachchan and many other star sons, Ranbir Kapoor also plans on staying with his parents after he ties the knot. Now before you girls begin to think that the chocolate hero of Bollywood has found his soulmate and is ready to take the plunge, I would like to clarify that he is merely expressing his intention. He is still very much footloose and fancy-free.

However, this will not last for too long. Apparently Ranbir no longer feels commitment phobic and is eager to settle down and start a family in his parents' house. So much so that his parents have already started refurbishing their house, adding more space, just in case the good news is around the corner.

The hot Priyanka Chopra and the hotter Ranbir Kapoor sizzle on the poster for Anjaana Anjaani. Now, this will definitely make the temperatures soar!

Finally Saif told to act his age

With Saif Ali Khan hitting the big four-zero soon, his film-maker pals have decided that it's the right time that Nawab junior starts acting his age.

Siddharth Anand, for instance, has decided to make a love story that will see Priyanka Chopra opposite him.

According to Anand, the guy who has made Salaam Namaste, Bachana Ae Haseeno, Tara Rum Pum and yet to be released Anjaana Anjaani, his next will not have Saif playing a 20-something dude. Instead "Saif will play his own age," he said.

Somebody please tell him that it was not very long ago when middle-aged Amitabh Bachchan was still running around trees singing romantic numbers to his female leads who were as old as, if not younger, than his kids.

did you know?

Who Aamir Khan's favourite actor is? It is none other than the famed funny man Govinda. In an interview, the actor confessed that Govinda is the only actor among the current lot (in Bollywood) who can make him laugh out loud effortlessly with his sheer on-screen presence. I can't help but wonder whether he is laughing at Govinda or with him?
