Robin Roberts back on Oscars red carpet

Los Angeles: Good Morning America hosts Robin Roberts and Lara Spencer will be joining Jess Cagle, editorial director of People and Entertainment Weekly, and model Tyson Beckford for ABC’s pre-Oscars red carpet show, Red Carpet Live.

Ryan Seacrest and the E! crew may cover the red carpet for hours before the Oscars, but the ABC show has the benefit of airing directly before the Oscars on March 2.

Roberts, Spencer and the crew will be stationed outside the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood and Highland chatting with the nominees and presenters as they arrive for what people call Hollywood’s biggest night.

After the Oscars, Jimmy Kimmel will host Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Oscars for the ninth year.

Ellen DeGeneres hosts the Oscars this year, her second time.
