Okay so he says he has no intent on permanently leaving LA Galaxy for AC Milan, that it's just a three month loan spell to prepare him for Major League Soccer's pre-season but we can all smell a rat.

AC Milan has expressed an interest in extending his stay and say they hope he 'falls in love' with Milan.

Could they all be testing the water before announcing a big move because of the appalling success rate of big name foreigners at the club?
