Rajinikanth is the first person to watch Mohanlal's L2: Empuraan trailer: Prithviraj

Malayalam actor and director Prithviraj, who is gearing up for the release of his latest project L2: Empuran with Mohanlal, claims he had the privilege to showcase the trailer of his movie to the Tamil icon. And, going by their beaming faces and photographs, it looks like Rajinikanth is mighty impressed with the sneak peek. L2: Empuran will release in the UAE cinemas on March 27.

This is the highly anticipated sequel to Lucifer, the 2019 Malayalam blockbuster starring Mohanlal, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, and Vivek Oberoi.

The second chapter, out soon, is expected to delve deeper into the enigmatic character of Stephen Nedumpally (Mohanlal), revealing his transformation into the global underworld figure "Empuraan."

With Prithviraj returning as director and a stellar cast, including Manju Warrier and Tovino Thomas, the film promises high-octane action, political intrigue, and larger-than-life storytelling.
