Priyanka Chopra-Ranbir Kapoor starrer Barfi unveiled
The much-anticipated trailer of Barfi, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, is out now
An excited Priyanka Chopra on Monday treated her twitter fans to the first trailer from her upcoming film Barfi.
“So!!! Heres The #Barfi! trailer... Phew!!! Lemme know what yall think.. And spot me if u can.... http://youtu.be/yZxrao3zou4,” she tweeted.
Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Chopra, the trailer has a unique strategy: the trailer for this tale of a speech-impaired protagonist -- Kapoor plays a deaf-mute -- has no dialogue. but an Amelie-esque soundtrack.
Chopra is almost unrecognisible as a young woman with special needs. Shikha Kapur, executive director, marketing, Studios, Disney UTV, earlier told Hindustan Times that “Priyanka plays a very special character in Barfee, so we want to keep her mystery intact. In the first trailer, Barfee — played by Ranbir — will be unveiled. We don’t plan to reveal Priyanka until the film releases.” A
Barfee is scheduled to be released on September 13.
