Actor cheers Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster as other superstars remain tight-lipped
Dubai: While several Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan haven't openly praised Dhurandhar 2, there's one global star who has robustly celebrated the box-office juggernaut. And that's Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Ranveer Singh's co-star from hits like Bajirao Mastani, Gunday and Dil Dhadak Ne Do.
The Quantico star recently took to Instagram to congratulate her “dost”, meaning friend in English, Ranveer Singh and praised director Aditya Dhar for the blockbuster.
Sharing the film’s poster on her Instagram Stories, Priyanka wrote, “Congratulations mere dost Ranveer Singh.” She also tagged several members of the ensemble cast, including Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi.

The actor had special praise for filmmaker Aditya Dhar, writing, “Aditya, you’re a man with a mission. Dhurandhar in every way is a revelation. Thank you all for your artistry.”
Priyanka has been in India in recent days and recently made headlines after visiting the Golden Temple.
Videos of the actor performing service at the shrine circulated widely online. She was seen sitting alongside other devotees and washing utensils, a form of community service that is a core tradition at the temple. Later, she was spotted leaving the premises with security as fans gathered hoping to catch a glimpse of her.
Priyanka and Ranveer share a long professional history in Bollywood. The duo have previously worked together in films such as Dil Dhadakne Do, Gunday and Bajirao Mastani.
Other stars who have openly praised Dhurandhar 2 is Vicky Kaushal and director Imtiaz Ali.

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is set to return to Indian cinema with Varanasi, directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The film stars Mahesh Babu in the lead role, with Prithviraj Sukumaran playing the antagonist.
Her most recent appearance was in the Hollywood adventure film The Bluff, which premiered on the streaming platform Prime Video.
