Veteran TV and film actress Sameena Peerzada has ushered in the new year with her debut web show. Titled Rewind with Sameena Peerzada, the 30-minute programme sees her having a heart-to-heart with her celebrity guests in an intimate environment, similar to the format adopted by Indian actress Simi Garewal on her show, Rendevouz With Simi Garewal.
The first two webisodes, which were released on different social media forums recently, feature Mahira Khan and Ahsan Khan respectively. Having been associated with the entertainment industry for many decades now, during the course of which she also directed the critically acclaimed drama serial Karb (1995) as well as a couple of films for cinema, Peerzada enjoys a special emotional affinity with her guests most of whom have either worked with her or for her.
