Naeem Haque returns with ‘Maan Jao Naa’
Actor failed to get his big break with ‘Yalghaar’
Model Naeem Haque’s acting debut was going to be Syed Noor’s Bhai Wanted, a multi-starrer film that he is supposed to have signed many moons ago.
Only it kept getting delayed, and eventually Haque’s first cinematic venture proved to be Yalghaar, a big-budget war saga, released earlier this year.
Unfortunately for Haque, the much-hyped film sank at the box office, and the handsome young guy was barely noticed among a gaggle of stars such as Shaan Shahid, Humayun Saeed, Bilal Ashraf, Umair Jaswal, and Adnan Siddiqui.
Haque moved to television, featuring in a couple of music videos and drama serials.
Now, he has another film coming out, titled Maan Jao Naa. It’s a film with a young cast — pop singer Adeel Chaudhry and Iranian import Naaz Nourozi — and Haque is hoping it will give him the boost he needs. The film releases in February next year.
