Pakistani singer and actor Ali Zafar will be in Dubai this weekend to promote his latest Urdu film, Teefa In Trouble.
Apart from interacting with the local press to discuss his new Pakistani project, Zafar will spearhead a meet and greet at Club Boudoir Dubai on July 12. Zafar, who has acted in Bollywood films such as Dear Zindagi and Meri Brother Ki Dulhan, is expected to arrive at the nightclub closer to midnight.
Teefa In Trouble is the directorial debut of Ahsan Rahim and also stars Maya Ali. Zafar plays the title role in the action drama that takes you on a journey from Pakistan to Poland.
In April, Zafar sprang spot into spotlight when singer and actress Meesha Shafi accused him of subjecting her to “harassment of a physical nature”. Zafar has denied her claims and has filed a lawsuit against Shafi.
“I categorically deny any and all claims of harassment lodged against me by Ms Shafi. I intend to take this through the courts of law,” said Zafar at that time.
Teefa In Trouble will release in the UAE on July 19.
