Party in the Park: Who’s partying?

Overview Vans Party in the Park is one of the biggest multi-stage music festivals in Dubai. Last year it attracted more than 3,000 people, who enjoyed a bumper weekend of all-day music, ground-breaking acts, and a tantalising food festival.

Juliana Down | Gulf News

Juliana Down, a Dubai-based band, formed over 15 years ago. For 10 years they have been recognised as on of the Middle East’s leading bands. In 2011, the band wrote, recorded, and licensed to Emirates Airline the official anthem for the Dubai Rugby Sevens tournament. After their successful album Empires, they will dominate the stage.

The Boxtones are a Dubai-based rock band composed of Scottish and Canadian musicians. This year, they won best local band at the Hype Magazine award. They will share the main stage with Stereophonics and they will get the crowd in the festive mood by their energetic performance.

Adam Baluch | Gulf News

Adam Baluch, multi instrumentalist and a talented vocalist, performed in McGettigan’s DWTC, Fibber Magee’s, Loca and now Zero Gravity. He will perform his original mixture of beatboxing, singing, guitar, keyboards and percussive sounds with a loop station on November 13.

Bridge Incident is a rock band consisting of four friends from different countries who decided to write music. Bridge Incident accredited their global sound to the unique style and influences of its members. They will be here at Vans party this week

The Hype Clubhouse will unveil international and local DJs. The Hype village will feature the updated urban street style with entertainment such as skate ramps, graffiti walls, street workouts and a pop-up market of local vendors selling everything needed to get into the festive mood.

The Good Acoustic stage will feature local musicians featuring everything from soul to Jazz. The acoustic stage will unveil local talents that will amaze the crowd for sure.

The Parlotones, rock band from Johannesburg, South Africa,   will join the party with their infectious energy and style to offer the participants a unique and astonishing entertainment experiment which they won’t ever forget.
