NCT to get fourth sub unit group

SM Entertainment’s 18-member rookie boy group NCT may already have three subunits — NCT U, NCT 127 and NCT Dream — but it looks like the interchangeable, conceptual group may be getting another subunit group, NCT China.

During his acceptance speech for winning Best Management Award at the 2018 Korea-China Management Awards, Lee Soo Man, executive producer of South Korea’s juggernaut entertainment agency, confirmed that the label is preparing an NCT Chinese unit, consisting of only Chinese members.

Although NCT currently has five Chinese members, more details have yet to be announced on their debut date and whether they will be adding additional members.
