Dubai: Bollywood’s fiercest female cop, Shivani Shivaji Roy, is reporting back for duty in Mardaani 3, which is officially set to release on Friday, February 27, 2026 — just in time for Holi.

So while the rest of us are throwing colours, Rani will be throwing punches and puncturing bodies with bullets (and maybe a few harsh truths).

Over the past decade, the Mardaani franchise has become India’s most successful solo female-led action saga, blending high-octane drama with razor-sharp commentary on crime and justice. Whether it's trafficking rings or corrupt power players, Shivani has taken them all on with fearless grit and a killer stare that says, "Don’t even try me."

This time, director Abhiraj Minawala steps in to steer the ship, promising a fresh take while staying true to the franchise’s core: a woman who doesn’t wait around for a knight in shining armour — she is the cavalry.

So buckle up. If there’s one thing we know about Shivani Shivaji Roy, it’s that she doesn’t knock — she kicks the door down.
