Geronimo is on a high

Sarah Geronimo is rumoured to be starring in a remake of the film Dear Heart that had Sharon Cuneta in the lead in the original. Geronimo is happy that the success of the soap Bituwing Walang Ningning got her this role. The singer and actress also won the Most Promising Female Singer award at the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Awards last year.

Puppy love

Ara Mina was touched when Polo Ravales surprised her on the eve of her birthday by

filling her house with rose petals. He also fulfilled his promise to give her the puppy she saw while she was in the US and presented it to her as a birthday gift. Mina admits that she and Ravales love being in each other's company.

Busy means Alandy

Luis Alandy has signed on for three films. The actor will be seen in Pacquiao, where he plays a boxer; Lambanog where he co-stars with Danica Sotto; and Karma with Alessandra de Rossi. Alandy will also work on another film directed by Gil Portes.

The date is out

Richard Gutierrez has confirmed that the much awaited tele-fantasia series Captain Barbell will be telecast on May 29. Guiterrez is excited as he wears Barbell's costume, which is designer Miles Tevez's creation.

The Drummer in trillo

Dennis Trillo celebrated his birthday by staging a concert for his fans. Few people knew the actor is a very good drummer and can also carry a tune or two. He entertained his fans together with his guests that included Gladys Guevarra, Marian Rivera, Janno Gibbs and Teri Onor. His co-star, Angel Locsin, in the TV show Majika, was also present.

The much awaited Bench Fever Fashion Show is confirmed and will be held on June 30 at the Araneta Coliseum in Manila. The star-studded show will feature Richard Gomez, Lucy Torres, Alessandra de Rossi and Richard Gutierrez. The organisers are currently screening models for the show.
