A star who's a fan

Angel Locsin was surprised to see Sharon Cuneta as a guest on Eat Beluga. Locsin, who was also a guest on the noontime talk show, jumped up and hugged Cuneta and gushed about how happy she was to share the same portal with her. Locsin admitted to being a fan of Cuneta's. Incidentally, both actresses played female leads in Darna.

Beauty with brains

Donita Rose put up a booth for fans so they coud get pictures clicked with her at Ruffa Gutierrez's Celebrity Bazaar. The actress charged a nominal fee for this and those attending the Bazaar flocked to her counter in droves. Result? The actress managed to sell most of her stock in double quick time.

Together again

Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin will be starring in a project after more than six years. The actors star in the soap I Love New York, which will be shot entirely in the United States. Mark Herras and Jennylyn Mercado also form part of the star cast. Shooting is scheduled to start in April.

Hold on to those trousers

Mark Bautista has denied rumours that he was ready to strip in his films. The actor is seen shirtless in a video for the song You Win The Game and it was rumoured he was willing to shed more if asked to.

Fantasy role

Jackie Rice is slated to join the cast of Encantadia. The teen actress and Starstruck contest winner will play a lead role in the fantasy series. The role is part of her contract with GMA, which she had won in the talent search contest.

Desperate measures

Amy Pascual wants her son Piolo (right) to tie the knot quickly. She says: “If I could, I would be distributing copies of my son's bio-data in the United States - one for every potential girlfriend.” Meanwhile, Piolo, who turned 29 in January says he is looking for a girl to settle down with. He had earlier admitted to being close to Toni Gonzaga, but said it was more friendship than true love.
