Back on the role

Gretchen Baretto is returning to the big screen with a cameo in Bong Revilla's untitled venture. Baretto moved away from films last year saying she needed a break from work.

Short act

Piolo Pascual will be seen in an indie film soon. The period venture is set in the 1950s and titled Kagat Sa Dilim. The actor plays the role of a rebel called Huk who fights against the government forces. Incidentally, Pascual is part of a wave of actors who have been seen in these short film ventures.

Are they, are they not?

Polo Ravales and Ara Mina could be an item. Ravales says he loves watching Mina on the show S-Files in which he also stars. Ravales adds that he especially likes the scene in which they both converse over the phone. Mina, who is in the United States, says she is touched by Ravales attention. Both actors have been spotted together at restaurants on numerous occasions.

A time for courtship

Alfred Vargas is courting LJ Reyes. Vargas confirms that they have been dating for a while now. He adds that he admires her because she finished her studies before getting into showbiz.

Shifting loyalties

Marvin Agustin has moved from ABS CBN to the rival GMA Network. Agustin says he signed the agreement with GMA last month and will soon be seen on some of their important TV shows.

Not leaving

Sharon Cuneta confirms that she is not joining GMA Networks. The actress was recently seen at the premiere of the movie Moments of Love, a GMA production, prompting fans to think she is leaving ABS CBN for the rival network. She adds that she is seen on some GMA talk shows and at film premieres because she is in talks with their management to make a movie.
