Mohanlal and Mammootty will descend on Dubai Festival City this Friday to attend the Ujala Asianet Film Awards. They will be joined by Asin Thottumkal and Vidya Balan along with Jayaram, Dileep and Kavya Madhavan.
"More than 150 artists from the South Indian industry will attend the awards show, which is being held outside India for the first time," said Bindhu Menon, General Manager of Asianet Middle East. Kolaveri Di singer Dhanush is also confirmed to attend the awards night.
Rumour has it that Don 2 star Shah Rukh Khan will be the chief guest of the evening.
Tickets for the show, that begins at 5.30pm, are priced from Dh50 to Dh1,000 and are available at all Lulu outlets.
Meanwhile, tomorrow at Global Village, fans can meet the stars of Players, which premieres that evening in Dubai. Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu, Sonam Kapoor and Neil Nitin Mukhesh will greet fans and pose for pictures with them at 4.45pm.
