Prolific film-maker Madhur Bhandarkar is on a roll. The man who takes inspiration from real-life situations is about to commence shooting his next film Dil to Bachcha Hai Ji and plans to finish it within a month!

And all we do know is that the cast includes Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Omi Vaidya and Shruti Haasan. The storyline of the film, however, is all hush-hush. If that is not enough, Bhandarkar has already started work on another project. Called Heroine, it will star Kareena Kapoor.

It's not based on the life of Marilyn Monroe, well, at least, that's what Madhur is willing to reveal about the film right now. If everything goes well, the shooting of this new film will begin in October.

Looks like he's got his hands full this year!

Money talks

Recession might spell trouble for the rest of the world but not for Sanjay Dutt! We've been telling you about his extravagant ways from time to time, but this one takes the cake! Rumour has it that when Sanju came to know that his wife of three years, Maanyata, was pregnant, he ordered diamond earrings from her favourite jeweller, worth a whopping INR10 million. Well, some of you would say that if he can afford it, then why not? But I would say there is no bigger gift than the gift of time.

did you know?

What brought Shahid Kapoor closer to his mom Neelima? Well, it's his pet dog Kaizer! Yes, after years of cold war, the mother-son relationship is finally thawing because Kapoor, who is in Scotland shooting for his father's Mausam, has left his dog with his mother. Shahid, we hear, calls up his mum at least twice a day to check on the love of his life. When asked how she felt about the fact that it took an animal to mend their relationship, Neelima said, "I can take care of Kaizer better than Shahid and he knows it well!" No gratitude, I tell you.
