Zahid's indian tunes
Mustafa Zahid has sung a couple of songs for Bollywood movie Awarapan. The 25-year-old Pakistani rock star was invited by producers Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt to sing for the film. Zahid has sung the hit tracks To Phir Aao and Tera Mera Rishta in the film. He now has plans to visit India on a tour soon. The news came to light after rumours that the film starring Emran Hashmi, may be screened in Pakistan soon.

Sticking to vegetables
Saima is a strict vegetarian. The actress revealed this at a recent press conference when she was asked about the secret of her good health. "A staple diet is the answer. I love vegetable and lentils. I don't eat meat for it makes me fat and I can't afford to be flabby," she says.

An appeal to audiences
Nadeem made an appeal to Pakistani film viewers to come and watch films made in the country while addressing a gathering at the Arts Council during the Mohammad Ali Film Festival in Lahore. The actor remembered times when Pakistani films would celebrate silver and golden jubilees with some even running into 100 weeks. "We have to make similar record-breaking films to save the film industry here from falling into a ditch," he said.

Friendly trips
Nirma says that she is just friends with Ibrarul Haq. The actress' trips from Lahore to Islamabad (where Haq stays) have become periodic affairs ever since she met the pop star at a fashion show in May. Tongues have been wagging as Nirma has shown an affinity for dating pop stars in the past. She was earlier into a relationship with Sajjad Ali.

Hitting out
Meera says she won't act with Saima anymore as she feels Saima is not the top actress the media makes her out to be. "She has not done anything great in a her career. In fact, before her last hit Majajan, Saima was like any other actress in the Pakistani film industry. It is Syed (Noor) who is her inspiration," says Meera.
