Out of respect
Nirma ruffled some feathers of Reema's fans by calling the latter apa (a respectable term denoting old or very senior) during an interview. Fans took offence as they felt Nirma was calling Reema old and feeble. However, Nirma explained that Reema was much older to her in experience and in age. "I joined the industry in 1996 while Reema joined it in 1990. Don't you think I should address her with respect? If her fans feel I have slighted Reema, that's rubbish," says Nirma.

Ready for films
Aiman wants to act in movies. The television actress says she would be keen to do a film with a good script if she were approached by a Karachi-based film director. However, Aiman, who was appreciated for her role in the Zeba Bakhtiar series Babu, still only receives offers for more television soaps.

Too close for comfort
Now we know why Saima told the press about her marriage to Syed Noor (e+, 17/5). Apparently, Noor is making a film titled Bhai and became very close to its lead heroine Atiqa Odho. Too close, for Saima is known to have taken offence on getting to know about this and decided to let the press know that she was married to Noor.

Too high a price
Shamim Nazir was astounded by the amount of money that Babra Sharif asked for to star in a music video. The music director expected Sharif to quote a moderate sum, seeing that they have been friends for a while. However, Sharif is not one to allow friendship to influence her professional decisions. She asked for the sum she quotes for similar video shoots and Nazir had to admit that she would not be able to afford Sharif.
