Exciting news for K-drama fans—Lee Do-hyun and Go Min-si may be teaming up once again.

On April 2, reports surfaced that Lee Do Hyun is in talks to star in an upcoming drama penned by the acclaimed screenwriting duo, the Hong Sisters, Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran.

Responding to the reports, Lee Do Hyun’s agency, YUEHWA Entertainment Korea, stated, “It is a project that he received a [casting] offer for,” leaving fans eager for further updates.

Back in January, Go Min Si’s agency, Mystic Story, confirmed that she was preparing for the Hong Sisters’ new project. While Cha Eun-woo was initially in discussions for a role, recent reports suggest that he has since withdrawn. However, official details regarding the drama’s title, plot, and full cast remain under wraps.

This potential casting is particularly exciting as it would mark Lee Do-hyun’s second collaboration with the Hong Sisters, following his memorable role as Go Chung Myung in Hotel Del Luna. At the time, he was a rookie actor sharing the screen with IU.

Moreover, if Lee Do-hyun joins the project, it will also be his third time working with Go Min Si, after their well-received performances in Sweet Home and Youth of May. This has given fans much joy, because the two stars have not had a happy ending in any of their shows. One fan wrote, “There’s a K-Drama produced obsessed with casting Dohyun and Minsi together, till they finally get their happy ending and I’m not complaining.” Another added, “Chemistry so good that they had to be cast together again at all costs.” Others noted that they didn't want to sob anymore. "No more tragic endings!"

Currently, Lee Do Hyun is serving in the Air Force military band and is set to be discharged on May 13—just in time to take on a new drama role.
