Katrina Kaif admits she's single

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, on Tuesday, confirmed her single status and admitted she has broken up with A-lister Salman Khan, putting an end to speculation surrounding her personal life.

“Yes, I am single and I don’t want go beyond that," said Kaif at a press conference in Mumbai, on Tuesday evening. A few days before, her former boyfriend Khan said in an interview that he was still friends with Kaif but admitted that they’d broken up. The star had remained tight-lipped about it until then.

"And if Salman Khan has said he’s single and if I’m single, the rest is easy to figure out,” said Kaif. The two were involved in a serious relationship for many years with the much-older Khan also acting as her mentor. However rumours of a break-up surfaced when Kaif's camaraderie with Ranbir Kapoor became the talk of the town.

She adds that her career is now her top priority.

"I’m busy shooting for Farah Khan's Tees Maar Khan and I want to give my career 1,000 per cent,” she said.
