Marvels Doomsday cast: Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth and more announced

The cast includes MCU legends including stars from ‘X-Men’ and more

Dubai: Marvel Studios shared some big news for fans last night about the upcoming Russo Brothers film, Avengers: Doomsday.

The complete cast of the film was revealed by the studios, with some major surprises which included the cast of X-Men (2000).

In an Instagram video posted by Marvel Studios, we can see chairs with the actors name written behind.

The full cast includes Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Anthony Mackie (Captain America), Danny Ramirez (Falcon), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Letitia Wright (Shuri), and Winston Duke (M’Baku) from the Avengers series.

Pedro Pascal (Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn (Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Thing) from Fantastic Four. The also includes The Thunderbolts, Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova), David Harbour (Red Guardian), Wyatt Russell (U.S. Agent), Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost), Lewis Pullman (Bob), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), and Tenoch Huerta Mejia (Namor).

The biggest surprise among the Doomsday cast, however, was the the cast from The X-Men which includes Patrick Stewart (Professor Charles Xavier), Ian McKellen (Magneto), Kelsey Grammer (Beast), Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler), James Marsden (Cyclops), Channing Tatum (Gambit), and Rebecca Romjin (Mystique).

And Robert Downey Jr. playing Doctor Doom, the antagonist of the film.

While it is a big star cast, there are some big names that were absent from the list like Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch, Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, Benedict Cumberbatch’s Dr. Strange, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and more.

Besides Avengers: Doomsday, which is said to release after a year or more, there are two other Marvel movies to look out for.

Thunderbolts and Fantastic Four: First Steps will be releasing this year, with some old and new actors added to the marvel universe.
