Dubai: Stars of the upcoming Jurassic World: Rebirth hit the green carpet at the world premiere of the film in London, on Tuesday.

Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Puert Friend, Ed Skrein and the director, Gareth Edwards walked the green carpet – but they weren’t alone. Joining them was an animatronic dinosaur, who appears in the film, posing for photos alongside her handler.

Speaking at the premiere, Johansson said, “I think it really is a love letter to Steven’s work. Fans of the Jurassic universe can expect to really feel the DNA of the original Jurassic Park in this film.”

Jurassic World Rebirth, also stars Bridgerton and Wicked star, Jonathan Bailey who showed up in a baseball cap and blazer at the premiere. He spoke about how it was a full circle moment for him as he watched the original Jurassic Park as a child.

“It’s beyond a dream,” he said. Bailey also revealed that he helped with the soundtrack for the film, saying “It was completely out of body. The musicians were lovely and let me come in with my slightly wonky technique and get involved.”

Five years after the previous film, Jurassic World: Dominion, Jurassic World: Rebirth will hit the screens on July 2.
