The couple got engaged in 2023 after dating for a year
Dubai: Musician and Disney actor, Demi Lovato has officially tied the knot with singer-songwriter Jordan “Jutes” Lutes in a private, romantic ceremony.
The couple first met in January 2022 when they worked on a song together and made their relationship public in August that year. After almost two years of dating, they announced their engagement in December 2023.
And this weekend, the couple finally said ‘I do’ at their wedding on Sunday, May 25. Lovato, 32, walked down the aisle in a custom Vivienne Westwood pearl white dress, made with satin fabric and a corset bodice.
In an interview with Vogue, Lovato mentioned her process of choosing her dress and how she kept going back to Westwood’s designs. “When I was thinking about what dress style I wanted, I often found myself coming back to Vivienne’s designs – specifically how the silhouettes really compliment the curves in your body, and her use of corsets,” she said.
In a post on Instagram, Lovato wrote, "Sunday was the best day of my life. I got to marry the man of my dreams who just so happens to be my best friend and soulmate on the most perfect day, with my closest friends and family, surrounded by so much love."
Lovato then changed into another Westwood dress for the reception, an ivory silk satin column dress with a draped corset top.
The Disney actor recently showered love for her now husband on Instagram, with a post on Valentine’s Day. The post read, “Jordan, I cannot WAIT to marry you!! The past 3 years have been the best 3 years of my life and I have you to thank for that.”
“I’m obsessed with your heart, your love and your light. I can’t wait to grow old with you and start a family together. Happy Valentine’s Day to the love of my life. I love you honey!!”
