Here's a quick look at what to expect from Bollywood stars this year.

WHERE: Janeman
WHY: Salman Khan is expected to be at his romantic best in Janeman. Directed by Shirish Kunder, Janeman will see Khan at loggerheads with Akshay Kumar as Kumar makes a comeback to the romantic genre after a string of comedies.

WHO: Shah Rukh Khan
WHERE: Don
WHY: Shah Rukh Khan plays a double role in this film directed by Farhan Akhtar. That's twice the fun for Khan's fans. Also, the film is a take on the original that had Amitabh Bachchan in the lead. Arjun Rampal, Priyanka Chopra and Isha Koppikar are the other stars in this remake with a twist.

WHO: Hrithik Roshan
WHERE: Krrish
WHY: It's a Rakesh Roshan production and Roshan Jr.'s father is expected to deliver a hat-trick of hits after directing his son in this third venture (the first two were Kaho Naa Pyar Hai and Koi Mil Gaya). Krrish is the sequel to Koi Mil Gaya and the film has Priyanka Chopra in the female lead.

WHERE: Fanah
WHY: Kajol has chosen director Kunal Kohli's Fanah as her comeback vehicle. Her pairing with Aamir Khan is something to watch out for as Kajol has a point to prove after a four-year hiatus. Her last lead role was in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham in 2000.

WHERE: Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna
WHY: Insiders say Bachchan Jr. steals the show in this Karan Johar venture despite Shah Rukh Khan's presence and chemistry with Johar. It also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Preity Zinta and Rani Mukherjee.

WHY: David Dhawan's Partners is Govinda's comeback vehicle and since the director-actor duo have some memorable hits to their credit, expect some fireworks here. Salman Khan plays perfect foil to Govinda. Katrina Kaif and Lara Dutta are the female leads.

WHY: In a remake of the original, directed by J. P. Dutta, Rai takes on Rekha's National Award-winning role as a courtesan. Abhishek Bachchan plays the role originally portrayed by Farooque Shaikh.
ALSO CATCH HER IN: Dhoom 2, Akbar-Jodha and Provoked. The actress will also be seen in three Hollywood films; Roland Joffe's Singularity, Doug Lefler's The Last Legion and Coline Serreau's Chaos.

WHY: Bachchan Sr's take on a modern day Gabbar Singh (played by the late Amjad Khan in the original) should have eyes riveted on him. And yes, It's a Ram Gopal Varma film.
ALSO CATCH HIM IN: Khazan (where he matches histrionics with thespian Dilip Kumar), Eklavya, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Baabul, God: Tussi Great Ho, Zamaanat and Darna Zaroori Hai.

WHERE: Gulel
WHY: Bengali actor-turned-director Aparna Sen's film stars Devgan in the title role of a hired assassin. The film stars Sushmita Sen and Konkona Sen Sharma in the female leads. Shabana Azmi has written the dialogues for the film.

WHO: Anil Kapoor
WHERE: Salaam-e- Ishq: A Tribute To Love
WHY: It's one of those rare instances in the actor's career where he will be noted more for his looks than his acting. Kapoor will present a clean shaven visage in Salaam-e- Ishq, more than 15 years after he did away with his moustache while shooting for Lamhe (1991).

WHERE: Taxi No 9211
WHY: Abraham has a point to prove ? that he is good at comedy ? especially when Akshay Kumar walked away with the plaudits in Garam Masala. In Taxi No 9211, the actor plays an insurance agent, who has to contest his father's will in court but needs Nana Patekar's cab to get there in time. Patekar plays a cabbie out to con every rich customer into taking the longest ride he can possibly take them on. Directed by Milan Luthria, the film also stars Sameera Reddy and Sonali Kulkarni.

WHERE: Rang De Basanti (releasing today)
WHY: It's back to his Jo Jeeta Woh Sikander days (where Khan played a school student) as the actor gives a stellar performance as a college student in Rakyesh Om Prakash Mehra's Rang De Basanti. Mahadevan, Soha Ali Khan, Atul Kulkarni, Siddharth and Kunal Kapoor make up the rest of the cast.
ALSO CATCH HIM IN: Fanaah and Mr Mehta and Mrs Singh. It's also the first time in years that Khan has agreed to have more than one film release in a single year.

WHERE: Being Cyrus
WHY: Being Cyrus is a humorous take on a Parsi family in Mumbai with Khan playing the lead role of Cyrus Sethna. Debutante director Homi Adajania's film also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Boman Irani and Dimple Kapadia. Khan is a sensation after delivering hits like Hum Tum, Parineeta and Salaam Namaste over the last two years and this film should leave his fans, and him, with smiles on their faces.

WHERE: Phir Hera Pheri
WHY: Phir Hera Pheri is director Neeraj Vora's sequel to the immensely successful comedy Hera Pheri that was released in 2000. Kumar is expected to give a sterling performance in this film, with Suneil Shetty and Paresh Rawal adding to the fun. Bipasha Basu plays the female lead in the film.

WHO: Sanjay Dutt
WHERE: Munnabhai MMG
WHY: Director Raj Kumar Hirani's Munnabhai MBBS was one of the biggest grossers in 2004 and now he is ready with Munnabhai MMG, touted as a fitting sequel. Watch out for Dutt's chemistry with Arshad Warsi and see the sparks fly as he tackles Boman Irani in this laugh riot. Vidya Balan replaces Gracy Singh in the female lead.
