Deepika Padukone loses bet to producer

Deepika Padukone has to pay Rs100,000 to producer Dinesh Vijan after she lost a bet to him after one of the film’s songs, Daaru Desi, become a hit.

"I had told Dinesh that no one is going to like the song Daaru Desi. I had a bet with him on this song for Rs ten lakhs. And today it has become one of the most popular songs. So I have lost it. I told him to deduct it from my pay but he said he will give me full fees and then will take from it. I am hoping that he will say, ‘let it be’," she said.
