Daddy dearest

Lady Gaga has been lending a helping hand to her father for the opening of his new Italian restaurant.

Her dad, Joe Germanotta's eatery will be called Joanne Trattoria.

Gaga is busy advising him on the menu, which is full of family recipes including a ten-layer lasagne, Grandma Rosie's Meatballs and Nutella doughnuts.

"It's a real family effort. They've all been getting stuck in," a source said.

Gaga has commissioned her sister Natali, a budding designer, to create art for the walls, and the restaurant will be run by her dad and US celebrity chef Art Smith.
