Viv Richards co-designs sportswear

Indian fashion designer Masaba Gupta’s upcoming sportswear collection has been co-designed by her father and former West Indies cricketer, Viv Richards.

Titled Viv x Masaba, the line will provide a stylish touch to the sports collection and is set to launch next year.

“Excited to share that my sportswear line launching in 2015 will be co-designed by Viv Richards,” posted Gupta, whose mother is actress Neena Gupta.

Richards also took to twitter to share his excitement about collaborating with his daughter.

“Very proud to be part of of my daughter’s new sportswear line. Hope you can all get on board and support in 2015,” the 62-year-old former West Indies cricket captain tweeted.
