Filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia will have a cameo role in a TV show called Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan.

“I play myself in the show. There is a party sequence where the lead guy — Vibhav Roy — who is in his struggling phase tries to dance and impress me, which doesn’t impress me at all. Ekta [Kapoor] wanted me to play an episodic role and I happily did that for her,” Dhulia said in a statement.

The show, based in Jamshedpur, is about three friends who come from different cultural backgrounds, and the plot revolves around a love triangle.

Besides Roy, Shritama Mukherjee and Gautam Gupta have lead roles on the show.

The sequence will have Roy dancing to song Badtameez dil, through which he tries to impress Dhulia, a guest at a party.

The show will air on Star Plus from September 28, and the episode featuring Dhulia will air in the first week.
