Parineeti Chopra looked every bit a vision until the naysayers piped in saying her outfit was a copy-paste version of Alia Bhatt’s. Ah well… she still looked every bit a vision in a beige lehenga designed by Manish Malhotra. Her veil had Raghav embroidered on it in Hindi. And no, as far as we remember, Bhatt did not wear a similar veil.

Kiara Advani’s much-awaited wedding with actor Siddharth Malhotra was a glamorous affair, beginning with Advani’s pink lehenga, designed by Manish Malhotra. According to an ANI report, the couple’s wedding outfits were made by 200 artisans over 6,700 hours.

The Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor was subtle all through – whether it was the choice of their home as venue or their designer wear. Bhatt wore an off-white organza sari with fine embroidery, designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. She completed the look with traditional jewellery and an embroidered veil.

Anushka Sharma, who tied the knot with cricketer Viral Kohli in Italy’s Tuscany, wowed all with her pale pink lehenga, embellished with renaissance embroidery, beads, pearls and threadwork — the handiwork of Sabyasachi. Her makeup was minimal, but Sharma came out looking stunning.

Neha Dhupia, who got married to Angad Bedi in a super hush-hush ceremony, opted for a baby pink lehenga by designer Anita Dongra. The pale colour was set off with traditional embroidery like zari and zardozi and her chunky, traditional jewellery.

For her wedding ceremony with cricketer Rahul K L, Athiya Shetty chose a soft nude makeup look created by artist Namrata Soni. “She was clear that red is not a colour for her wedding day outfit,” celebrity deisgner Ami Patel, who helped put her look together told ‘Hello’. “She wanted to wear something more subtle. The colour she picked was so gorgeous, I am going to call it the Athiya pink from now on!” Yes, Athiya looked truly gorgeous.

Bollywood actors Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal waited for two years before they could finalise their union, thanks to the pandemic. It was worth the wait to see Chadha look stunning in an ivory gharara, covered with intricate designs.

Rhea Kapoor, who married Karan Boolani, wore a an ivory-and-gold chanderi sari, set off by heavy jewellery and a netted veil.
