‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ music out on October 10
Film brings together Bollywood’s once indomitable team of Salman Khan and director Sooraj Barjatya
The music album for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo — which brings together Bollywood’s once indomitable team of Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya after 16 years — will be unveiled on October 10, said T-Series head Bhushan Kumar at the trailer launch on Thursday.
“This is the first time that Sooraj ji has given me an opportunity to market the music of their film. Their music is always good and with Salman, there is no need to market the music. But the songs of the film are very good, melodious and in sync with the film. So I am all excited,” he added.
When asked about the marketing strategy for the film’s music, he said: “Each song from Prem Ratan Dhan Payo will be unveiled one by one in the coming weeks prior to Diwali when the film releases.”
A family drama, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo also stars Sonam Kapoor, Anupam Kher and Neil Nitin Mukesh.
Directed by Barjatya, the film will release in India on November 12, a day after the festival of Diwali.
