Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Khamoshiyan’ will be a franchise
Filmmaker says the movie has the potential to become like ‘Raaz’
Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt thinks that Khamoshiyan, the upcoming supernatural drama from his production house, has the potential to become a franchise like the movies Raaz and Murder.
“Khamoshiyan is the new-age erotic supernatural narrative. It takes a quantum leap from our super successful franchise of the Raaz series and adds more VFX magic to that idiom. The Khamoshiyan franchise is here to stay,” Bhatt said in a statement.
Khamoshiyan stars television heartthrob Gurmeer Choudhary, debutant Sapna Pabbi and Ali Fazal and is set to release on January 30.
The film, being presented by Fox Star Studios, revolves around a young novelist who meets a mysterious woman while staying at her isolated guest-house to finish his book.
