Bollywood actress Konkona Sen Sharma and actor husband Ranvir Shorey have decided to part ways after five years of marriage.
The couple, who are parents to four-year-old son Haroon, took to their respective Twitter accounts to announce their split that follows prolonged speculation surrounding the state of their marriage.
“Ranvir and I have mutually decided to separate, but continue to be friends and co-parent our son. Will appreciate your support. Thank you,” Sen Sharma, 35, posted.
Shorey’s statement read, “Konkona and I have mutually decided to separate, but continue to be friends and co-parent our son. Will appreciate your support. Thank you.”
Sen Sharma and Shorey, 43, started dating in 2007. The couple got married in 2010 in a private ceremony.
They have acted together in films Traffic Signal, Mixed Doubles, Aaja Nachle and Gour Hari Daastan.
