Imran Abbas’s dream role in ‘Jaanisaar’

Pakistani actor Imran Abbas, who is gearing up for the release of his second Bollywood film Jaanisaar, says it is his dream role.

Jaanisaar is a period drama based on the love story of a prince and dancer, played by Abbas and debutante Pernia Qureshi respectively.

“I think for any actor this will be a dream role. Very few people make these kind of films, and when Muzaffar Ali offered this role to me, it was like a dream come true for me,” Abbas said.

Talking about the character he is playing in the film, Imran said: “The character of Raja Ameer Haider is close to my heart because this character understands music and shayari and I am also a student of music and shayari. During the shoot, Muzaffar sir narrated the character so beautifully that I started living it.”

Jaanisaar is set to release on August 7.
