Composer and actor Himesh Reshammiya has credited Salman Khan for his success in the film industry.

Reshammiya made his debut as a composer with Khan’s Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya and went on to create music for many of his films such as Tere Naam, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?, Bodyguard and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

The actor, who was in Jaipur to promote his upcoming film Teraa Surroor: A Lethal Love Story, said Khan even gave him fitness tips.

“Salman is a messiah in the industry,” Reshammiya said.

The actor lost 20kg for his role in the Shawn Arranha directed movie, which is a sequel to Reshammiya’s debut film, Aap Kaa Surroor.

“Viewers will see a new Himesh Reshammiya in my upcoming film Teraa Surroor. I worked hard for a year and learned a lot from legendary actors Nasseruddin Shah and Kabir Bedi,” he said.

Earlier in the day, Reshammiya along with film’s leading lady Farah Karimi and others visited the shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti in Jaipur to seek blessings for the success of the film.
