Gauri Shinde: Sridevi is the reason behind film

Filmmaker Gauri Shinde says actress Sridevi is the reason she is able to make her second film.

Shinde, who made her directorial debut with 2012 movie English Vinglish, starring the actress, has recently wrapped-up the shoot for her second movie with Alia Bhatt in the lead.

“You will always be my first love. @SrideviBKapoor I learnt so much from. You made me believe in myself and you are the reason I made my second. Thank you [sic],” Shinde tweeted.

Sridevi responded: “Thank you soooo much @gauris for making me feel good about myself again. I am sure your second one will be better than the first. All the best.”

The as-yet untitled project also stars Shah Rukh Khan.
