Bollywood stars lend support to 'Janta curfew', urge people to stay at home

Making her Instafam go 'awww,' actor Alia Bhatt shared a selfie from her house, wearing a cute panda-print night suit and asked people to stay safe. "Stay home & ... take selfies cause a little vanity never hurt nobody," Bhatt wrote in the caption.

Bebo took to Instagram to share the details of her 'Janta Curfew' and shared two pictures of her husband and son planting saplings. In the picture that Kareena shared both Saif and Taimur are seen sitting in their balcony wearing white-coloured kurta pyajama and working on their garden. "My boys doing their bit! Together, let's make the world a better place for us all. Play your part... #StayHome #StaySafe #JantaCurfew," she captioned the picture.

Actor Parineeti Chopra also took to Instagram and shared a picture of the balcony of her Mumbai's Khar situated house. "Home, Hope everyone is keeping themselves safe and healthy ... #Peace #Quiet #StayAtHome," Chopra wrote in the caption.

Actor Aditi Rao Hydari also urged people to 'heal the world' by staying at home and posted her selfie slaying the no make-up look. "#HealTheWorld There is always a silver lining... always. Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan on Sunday took to Twitter to share a view of the Mumbai's Marine Drive, which is seen empty. Giving credit to the public for following the idea behind the imposition of 'Janta curfew', the actor tweeted: "Marine Drive, Mumbai this morning .. this is what National discipline means .. JAI HIND. " The 77-year-old star, in another tweet, urged everybody to be indoor not just for the time period mentioned, but even after that. "Be indoors from 7 am to 9 pm .. but EVEN AFTER! And at 5 pm I shall clap on my balcony for them that work for us despite trying circumstances," the tweet read.

Actor Sidharth Malhotra took to Twitter and appealed to the public and said "stay home, relax and follow the Janta curfew"

Meanwhile, actor Kriti Sanon while expressing her support for the movement, also mentioned of opening her window at 5 pm to "applaud the ones working tirelessly to keep us safe" I'm supporting the #JantaCurfew by staying home with my loved ones! I hope you are at home too! Please be responsible and DO NOT STEP OUT AT ALL today. I'll open my window at 5 pm to applaud the ones working tirelessly to keep us safe! Alternatively, actor Sonakshi Sinha also took to Twitter to share her 'Janta Curfew' moment by posting a selfie. "Stay home. Stay safe. Hang out with yourself. #jantacurfew #chupchaapgharpebaitho #lifeinthetimeofcorona," she captioned the post.

Veteran actor Neena Gupta, on the other hand, was enjoying the day in isolation with her husband and getting a head massage from him. "Huband ko istemal karo na," she captioned the post.

Veteran actor Shabana Azmi gave a glimpse of the activity happening back at home adhering to the instructions of 'Janta curfew.' The 'Ankur' actor shared a picture of her husband Javed Akhtar on Twitter. In the shared photograph, the famous lyricist is seen writing. "@Javedakhtarjadu doing what he does best - writing, whilst abiding by #JantaCurfew and maintaining required distance whilst I sit watching the sea," the 69-year-old actor tweeted.
