1. Shah Rukh Khan is Bollywood’s go-to hero for romantic roles. So it didn’t come as a surprise when a Twitter user asked him crassly about tips on impressing a girl (‘ladki patane ke tips), he retorted: “Start with not using the word ‘Patana’ for a girl. Try with more respect gentleness and respect.”

2. When a fan asked him a highly intrusive question on the colour of his undergarment, Khan chose to respond to the inappropriate question with sarcasm: “I only do these #asksrk for such classy and educated questions.” The tweet containing the question has now been deleted, but it didn’t escape Khan’s attention.

3. When a fan asked when he could watch Khan on the big screen again, or for a hint about his next release, the actor urged him to be patient. “Strong hint: apni sab next movies mein main star kar raha hoon!! [I am starring in all my next movies]. Don’t tell anybody please.” Another Twitter user sounded more desperate to know about his new film, to which Khan said: “Arre so many films waiting to release in the cans....our turn will come after them don’t worry!

4. When one user asked him whether the sequel to his romance ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ would ever be made, Khan clapped back in a witty manner. For those in the dark, ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’, which also featured Anushka Sharma, wasn’t a hugely successful film and was panned by critics. But Khan seems to have learnt how to take that debacle on his chin. Here’s Khan’s response: “Ha ha. Yahaan Twitter pe sab box office failures ka hi sequel kyon maang rahe hain??? [On Twitter why is everyone asking me about the sequels of box office failures?]”

5. When one of his fans asked him a question about not being able to figure out what to do in his career at 23 years of age, Khan had a pragmatic response up his sleeve. “Age is a number....Work hard and it will all happen well. I started in films at 26 if that helps. Just don’t waste your years that’s all,” Khan replied.

6. When a fan asked to share his experience about working together with Salman Khan, the actor chose to be gracious. Salman and Shah Rukh shot a few scenes for ‘Pathan’, also starring Deepika Padukone recently. Khan’s response was succinct: “As always bhai toh bhai hi hai! [As always a brother is always a brother.]”

7. A fan dug up his old quote in the ‘Koffee With Karan’ episode in which Khan claimed that he was a loner who rarely made any friends in Bollywood. A fan wanted to know if that status had changed and whether he had more friends now in his life. Khan gave a sweet response and claimed: “Nahi ab mere bachche mere dost hain [My children are my friends now].”
