Bollywood star Deepika Padukone tops 10 most beautiful women list

Indian actress Deepika Padukone joins Hollywood heavyweights in a recent Most Beautiful Women In The World survey. There’s now a programme that’ll allow you to tell who’s the most beautiful of them all. It depends, says the scientist who devised a software called the ‘Golden Ratio of Beauty’, which was also used by Greeks.

The UK-based plastic surgeon Dr Julian De Silva first named English actress Jodie Corner the world’s most beautiful woman. “Jodie Comer was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection. She had the highest overall reading for the positioning of her nose and lips, with a score of 98.7 percent, which is only 1.3 percent away from being the perfect shape. Jodie also had the highest score for her nose width and length and she was near the top for the shape of her lips and the position of her eyes,” Dr Julian De Silva told Yahoo Life UK.

Among the top ten beautiful women in the world is Indian star Deepika Padukone. One of the highest paid actresses in India and a winner of various awards, Deepika Padukone made her Bollywood debut in 2007 against Shah Rukh khan in Om Shanti Om. is the only other Indian on the list. The Bollywood star was ranked ninth in the list created by the scientist.

The Spider- man star Zendaya, with 134 million followers, made it to the second spot with 94.37 percent . These percentages have been gleaned from various reports doing the rounds.

Bella Hadid, the American model whose father is Palestinian and mother is Dutch, is known to have striking features took the third spot, respectively with Golden ratio score of 94.35 percent.

Beyonce came fourth in the "Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi" list after Hadid for her beauty.

Singer Ariana Grande is known for her delicate features and petite figure also made the list at fifth place in Dr Julian De Silva’s list based on the "Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi" at 91.81 percent. As per the report, the Golden Ratio of Beauty, also called Phi, is a mathematical method, in which there are formulas applied to determine physical perfection.

A report in Hindustan Times also mentions that the method used to evaluate these women were followed by ancient Greeks. According to reports, beauty can be measured by specific ratios on one’s face and body, and in the numerical form, the closer the ratios are to 1.618, which equals Phi, the more desirable a person is said to be, the report added. Taylor Swift, the singer, nabbed at the 6th spot with 91.64 percent.

Model Jourdan Dunn walked home at the seventh spot at 91.39 percent.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian also made it to the list at the eighth spot.

‘Squid Game’ actress Hoyeon Jung is the only south Korean star who featured in this list at the tenth spot. In ‘Squid Game’, Jung played Kang Sae-byeok, a hardened North Korean defector who needs money to save her family.
