Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor, who recently cancelled her Holi 2020 show in Dubai due to Coronavirus pandemic, has reportedly been tested positive for COVID-19.
Industry sources claim that she was rushed to a hospital in Lucknow after her return from London. The ‘Babydoll’ singer has now entered a self-quarantine and is now lodged in a gated community in her home town till she feels better.
Unlike Hollywood actors like Tom Hanks who took to social media to alert their fans about contracting the virus, Kapoor hasn’t updated her medical status on her social media accounts.
Kapoor was due to perform in Dubai for Holi 2020 event with DJ Nucleya on March 13. The global health scare has halted music concerts and Bollywood film shoots temporarily.
Actors including Kartik Aaryan, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana have taken to Twitter to warn their fans about social distancing and urged everyone to play safe.
