1. He races horses. No, really. In his spare time, he competes in championships – horse racing and Polo. He also keeps six ponies in Mumbai.

Hooda spent a lot of his childhood with his grandma (pictured). His parents worked in the Middle East, he said in an interview to give him a better life. He remembers the feeling of ‘abandonment’.

His parents tried to get him to become a doctor. This landed the parents in conflict with the son and in his school – DPS RK Puram in Delhi – he rebelled. He got into so much trouble, they nicknamed him Randeep ‘Don’ Hooda.

He went to Australia to study further – and promptly failed. He did end up getting a degree in marketing and Master in business management. He drove cabs, washed cars nd turned waiter to support him through this tough stint.
