Amitabh Bachchan in Shoojit Sircar’s next film

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has been signed by director Shoojit Sircar for his next film.

Sircar and Bachchan last worked together in Piku, which was a big hit.

“We have signed Amitabh Bachchan for a film that I would be producing. We share a great relationship and it’s always an honour to work with him. It is going to be a Delhi-based film,” Sircar said.

The film will be produced by Sircar’s production house, Rising Sun Films.

“We have locked a script and it will be helmed by a new director, Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury,” the director said.

The film will begin production in February 2016.
