Aamir Khan says his upcoming alien film PK this is one of his favourites.
“In the last 25 years, whatever I have done — be it 3 Idiots, Lagaan, or Sarfarosh — they are on the one side and this character is on the other side. It’s one of the most important and difficult roles,” he said.
“There are so many moments in the film and some will make you smile, some will make you cry. PK is one of my favourite films I have done till date.”
The film has garnered attention so far for its poster, showing the actor nude with a strategically placed radio.
Now the trendsetting actor — remember how all of Bollywood copied his Dhoom 3 hat — wonders if PK will have the same effect.
“During Dhoom 3 my cap got very famous and Salman was wearing the cap on Bigg Boss, so, now I want to test his friendship. So let’s see can he do this — he removed his shirt, now can he remove his pants?” Khan asked.
And in case you’re wondering if those biceps and abs are really his (there’s been talk of Photoshop), Khan says it’s all him.
“The photo has not been Photoshopped. I had made the body for Dhoom 3 and simultaneously I started shooting for the film... in fact, after too long I shot for two films at the same time.”
“For me, this poster is not vulgar. Vulgarity is not in your clothes, it’s in your mind and the way you talk,” he added.
Would he go nude if it was demanded in the script?
“It’s too difficult, but over the years I have realised that nothing is impossible. We can only do our work,” he replied.
