Umang 2018, the annual celebratory event held by the Mumbai Police which took place on January 13, had all the big guns from Bollywood including Padmaavat actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan turn up with their A-game on as a mark of their respect for the city’s law enforcement team.
The action wasn’t limited to the red carpet. The stars set the stage on fire by entertaining the police force with dance spectacles and witty skits.
Singh’s energetic dance performance and Alia Bhatt’s impromptu gig with Varun Dhawan were some of the highlights.
Director-producer-show host Karan Johar also mixed things up by conducting an in-conversation with Aamir Khan, who is currently working on the film, Thugs of Hindostan.
Bollywood’s new bride Anushka Sharma, who recently married cricketer Virat Kohli, also made it to the glitzy event in a sari, along with Kangana Ranaut who wore a green Sabyasachi silk creation.
