A busy year for ash
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has a very busy year ahead of her. No, she is not having a baby, but it is her professional life that is picking up. Apart from Robot,opposite Tamil superstar Rajnikant, she has Mani Ratnam's Ravan that has hubby Abhishek as well; Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next film with Hrithik Roshan in the lead; Vipul Shah's film with Akshay Kumar and last but not least, Excel Entertainment's untitled thriller that has Abhinay Deo, the guy who is making Delhi Belly, at the helm. This movie also stars hubby Abhishek. Looks like her calendar for 2009 is truly full!

Riding on his own
Ajay Devgan plans to make a movie that is an out-and-out action flick. And no, wife Kajol is not going to be a part of it. Apparently, Ajay does not want to do any comic roles, especially after Golmaal Returns, and since no one is offering him anything else, he has decided to make one on his own.

SRK plays it safe
The movie is not generating as much interest as its item numbers. The latest on Billu Barber is that Shah Rukh Khan requested Pritam, the music composer of the film, to tweak one of the songs in such a way that Priyanka Chopra, the actress who earlier had a few shots in the song, got more screen time. With Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone doing full-fledged songs, SRK wanted to play fair with Priyanka as well.

Bips' new friend
Bipasha Basu has a new 'friend'. And he is Mahendra Singh Dhoni, India's cricket captain. The two got close when they shot together for a commercial in Hong Kong. "Dhoni is great fun to hang out with. Even though I've known him for only the last two years, it feels like he is one of my close school pals with whom I can talk about everything under the sun," says Bips. Wonder what boyfriend John Abraham has to say about this friendship.
