Blake Lively gets a Spice Girls moment with Emma Bunton
The actress posted a throwback photo on Instagram dressed as Baby Spice, which the real Emma Bunton in turn ‘liked’
Blake Lively fangirling over her favourite ’90s girl group is just the thing to spice up your day.
The Gossip Girl actress posted a throwback photo Sunday on Instagram dressed head to toe as the Spice Girls’ Baby Spice (ponytails and platform shoes included) at a 1997 concert.
“Pretending to be someone else... since 1997. (Thanks @briaaamadridfor the photo of us at the Spice Girls concert. Sorry — not sorry — I tricked you into thinking I was @emmaleebunton),” Lively wrote.
Turns out Emma Bunton, the real Baby Spice, was among the more than 1.5 million people who liked the photo. And she weighed in about the doppelganger moment.
“So cute, you’re rocking those pigtails @blakelively,” Bunton commented on the post.
Lively immediately went from classy and cool celebrity A-lister to adolescent fangirl, saying in a comment that she was “officially dead” (with emojis of course).
“Forever bowing down to you,” Lively said. “I cannot believe you know who I am. This will never be normal.”
